Waking up a device
The direct access tools also provide you the possibility to wake up the selected remote device. To do so, proceed as follows:
- Select the device.
- Right-click the mouse button and select the Wake up option from the Direct Access Tools pop-up menu.
A confirmation window appears. - Click Yes to proceed with the wake up.
The wake up order is sent immediately to the remote device and executed.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
