Checking the connection
This option enables you to verify the connection of the remote device, that is, to see if it is contactable.
- Select the device.
- Right-click the mouse button and select the Check Connection option from the Direct Access Tools pop-up menu.
The master calls for an action on the BCM agent. If the agent does not reply, the parent of the agent tries to ping it.
The result of the connection verification displays in an Information window.
