Viewing and exporting the Server Endpoints license usage report for App Visibility portals
The Server Endpoints license usage report displays information about the number of licenses used for TrueSight App Visibility Manager and TrueSight Synthetic Monitor. Use this report to show the exact license count for each.
The Current Count is refreshed every time the report page is reloaded. The High Count is refreshed once an hour, 30 minutes after the hour according to UTC.
Prerequisites
- You must have installed TrueSight App Visibility Manager server components, version 11.0 or later.
- Your role must be a Solution Administrator to access the License Usage report.
To view the license usage report
- From the TrueSight console, select License Usage > Server Endpoints.
- Select App Visibility Portal from the Component Type list.
- If you are an administrator in a multi-tenant environment, select an App Visibility portal from the Components list. Otherwise, your App Visibility portal is the only one on the list, and is automatically selected.
A table showing the summary of your license usage is displayed. - Click the App Visibility license category to view App Visibility Server Endpoints details.
- Click the Synthetic Monitor license category to view Synthetic Monitor details.
To export the report
- From the toolbar, click
and select one of the export types: CSV or PDF.
Wait for the report to be downloaded. - Click and open the file to view the generated report.
Report details
The following details are displayed for App Visibility and Synthetic Monitor:

Operating System | Operating system where the App Visibility portal is installed |
Version | Software version of the App Visibility portal |

License Category | License categories that are managed by the App Visibility portal: App Visibility or Synthetic Monitor |
Unit | Unit of measurement: Server Endpoint or Agent |
Current Count | Number of licenses used for each category at the time the report was generated |
High Count | Highest number of licenses used for each category For example, this count could be displayed as 100, while the current count on the report date could be just 50. It indicates, that at least once in the life cycle the highest count of licenses for a particular category has reached 100 |
