Configuring values for an Asset Management lookup field

Track-It! enables you to define networks for assets. You can use the network lookup field to customize the Asset form. Before you can use the lookup fields to customize a form, you must configure the values that you want to display in the lookup field. You cannot use a special character such as {, }, &, and so on to configure a value for a lookup field.

For example, you want to add a lookup field that allows users to choose a preferred network to discover assets. In this case, you must add all the networks as values for the lookup field before adding the field to the Asset form.

Note

You can customize the field label of an Asset Management lookup field only after you add the field to a custom form. For more information, see Customizing forms for groups.
