Managing communication information

Communication information provides a quick summary of COMMINFO object types for the current connection. This falls in line with WMQ 7.1 security enhancements and the need for COMMINFO objects in order to use Multicast transmission (a COMMINFO object is a WebSphere MQ object that contains the attributes associated with multicast transmission).

In the Navigation Panel, select Communication Information to display the Communication Information Summary view:

Summary view operations available from the Operations drop-down menu are: Copy As New Comminfo, Delete, Permissions, Audit, Tag Comminfo.

To access the selected Communication Information's Properties Editor, click on the Comm Info Name.
