Adding functions to field data in charts

With the Functions fields in the chart builder, you can add fields with functions to the chart.

To add a function

1. Open a report in Draft mode.
2. Click the Charts tab.
3. If a chart is not already configured, add fields to the chart.
   For more information, see Creating a chart.

4. Add a function by using one of the following methods:

   Location	Description
   Function List	Drag an available function from the Functions list that is available on the left side of the Charts page, to a field in the next column. To configure the settings, hover over the function field, and select Settings or Configure x. Not all functions include the Settings.
   Field List	Hover over the field in the chart area. From the drop-down list, select Add Function > Function. To configure the settings, hover over the function field, and select Settings or Configure x.
