The CI Compliance dashboard is not located under the Dashboard tab as in other dashboards. You access this dashboard from the navigation tab section of the Service Level Management Console. The following steps describe how to access the CI Compliance View Dashboard.
- Use the navigation tab from the current dashboard, or enter the following URL in your browser:

From the CI Compliance View, you can see the compliance status for agreements, their related service targets, and the CIs that are used in their definitions. 
Tables on the CI Compliance View Dashboard
The CI Compliance View Dashboard provides the following tables:
- Configuration Item Status and Worst Case Agreement Status
- Agreements
- Related Service Targets.
Configuration Item Status and Worst Case Agreement Status table on the CI Compliance View Dashboard
The following table shows the CIs used as part of a service target definition. You can filter the display of CIs in the table by selecting one of the following options in the Show field list:
- CI Name—Name of the configuration item
- CI Class—ID of the CI class
- CI Cell—Name of the SIM cell that monitors the service model of which the CI is a part
- All—List of all agreements
The following table describes the columns in the Configuration Item Status and Worst Case Agreement Status table.
Column header | Description |
|---|---|
Name | The name of the CI. |
CI Status | The mapped status of the CI in real time. The status can be OK, Alarm, Warning, or Offline, which map to the corresponding SIM CI status. |
Worst Case Compliance | The most recent worst compliance status for all agreements that have related service targets using the CI in their definitions. |
Cell | The cell that monitors the SIM service model that includes the CI. |
Class | The Configuration Item Class ID used by the CMDB to classify CIs. |
Agreements table on the CI Compliance View Dashboard
This table shows the status of agreements that have related service targets that use BMC Service Impact Manager (BMC SIM) data sources. The table shows the results from the most recent agreement compliance calculations for each agreement in each review period defined for the agreement. You can filter the agreements in the table by selecting from the Review Period and Status field lists. For the review periods, you can select from Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or All. From the Status field, you can select from Compliant, At Risk, Breached, or All. To view an agreement, select it and click View Agreement. You can also add comments to an agreement in the SLM comments dialog box.
The following table describes the information displayed in the Agreements table.

Agreement | Name of the agreement. |
Contract ID | User-supplied ID number of the contract to which the agreement is related. |
Contract Name | User-supplied name of the contract to which the agreement is related. |
Review Period | Review period to which the agreement measurement applies. The review period indicates how often compliance is calculated for the agreement. |
Status | Most current compliance status calculated according to the review period. The status can be one of the three levels. |
Comment | Comment added to provide more information relating to the compliance status of the agreement. To add a comment:

Related Service Targets table on the CI Compliance View Dashboard
The Related Service Targets table shows the status data for service targets that are related to the agreement selected in the Agreements table. It shows the most recent service target status calculations for each review period.
You can double-click on a service target to view the service target measurements that were used in calculating the status for the review period. By default, the data displayed shows the measurements for the review period of the related agreement. However, you can change the data range by setting the start and end dates.
Charts on the CI Compliance View Dashboard
The three charts related to the CI Compliance View Dashboard are Worst Case Agreement Compliance, Compliance Status, and Impact Costs and Penalties/Rewards.
Worst Case Agreement Compliance chart on the CI Compliance View Dashboard
This chart displays the percentage of worst case agreement status calculations that fall into each compliance status category (Compliant, At Risk, Breached) for all the CIs.
You can double-click a segment of the chart to display more information about the configuration items that are in the specific compliance category. You can see the CIs that have agreements related to them that are in the selected compliance category.

The Compliance Status chart displays a historical view of the compliance calculations for the review period defined for the agreement. The solid blue line indicates the percentage compliance and the dotted red line indicates the Compliance Target percentage set during the agreement definition.
Impact Costs and Penalties/Rewards chart on the CI Compliance View Dashboard
The Impact Costs and Penalties/Rewards chart displays a historical view of costs for the agreement. The red line indicates the impact costs of any service targets related to the agreement that did not reach their goals, and the blue line indicates the penalties or rewards for the agreement.
