This documentation supports the 19.11 version of BMC Remedy Single Sign-On, which is available only to BMC Helix subscribers (SaaS).

Installing

After you complete the tasks to plan the installation of Remedy Single Sign-On, perform the following tasks to install Remedy SSO:

Before installing Remedy SSO, download the installation files and document your installation values, such as the database name and type.

Install Remedy SSO by using one of the available installation methods:

  • Install Remedy SSO by using the installation wizard.
  • Install Remedy SSO silently.
  • Install Remedy SSO by manually running the installation scripts.

Verify that the installation is successful by logging in to Remedy SSO Admin Console.

(Recommended) When you install the Remedy SSO server, the database password is encrypted with a hard coded key.

Best practice

For security reasons, we recommend that you re-encrypt the database password with a new key after you perform a fresh installation of Remedy SSO.
