Configuring Self Service mobile application on the Salesforce1 platform - BETA

Salesforce1 is a platform for hosting mobile applications. This enables you to access data in real time. You can configure the Self Service mobile application on the Salesforce1 mobile platform, enabling users to access BMC Remedyforce on their hand-held devices.The interface makes it easy for you to navigate and read through the data on the mobile device so that you can review and update the information more quickly.

You can download the Salesforce1 mobile app from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. For information about supported operating systems and devices, see the Salesforce Help.

You can configure the Self Service mobile application for clients. To do so, you must enable the Self Service mobile application on the Salesforce1 platform and then enable Salesforce1 for a particular user. You can also configure additional settings for the user.

In the Self Service mobile application, users receive push and in-application notifications (approvals, comments on user posts, and so on) from the Salesforce1 platform. For more information about notifications, see the Salesforce Help.

This is a beta version that is production quality, but has known limitations.
