Troubleshooting issues when populating demo data

The following table describes the troubleshooting tips that you can use to resolve issues that you might face when populating demo data.

IssueSolution
While populating the demo data, you receive the License Limit Exceeded. At least four Salesforce Platform Licenses are required. message.

Check the following points:

  • You must have at least 4 Salesforce Platform licenses available.
  • The Autoassign feature licenses to existing and new users check box (Setup > Customize > Salesforce CRM Content > Settings) is not selected.
    If this check box is selected, clear the check box to populate the demo data.
    If you want to keep the check box selected, ensure that you have sufficient Salesforce CRM Content User licenses that can be utilized to populate demo data.  
No demo data is available in the Developer or Developer Pro sandbox and on the Getting Started tab, it is shown that demo data already exists.When you create a sandbox (Developer or Developer Pro) from your production organization, demo data or smart practices data is not copied to the sandbox. To populate demo or smart practice data after creating the sandbox, click the Remedyforce Administration tab and then click the Getting Started tab. Now, the options to populate demo or smart practice data are shown.
While populating the demo data, you receive the BMCServiceDesk: Too many SOQL queries: 101 error.Clear the Use Organization’s default business hours to calculate the Due Date check box on the Remedyforce Administration > Application Settings > General Application Settings page.
