20.15.02.029.002: Emergency Patch 1 for version 20.15.02

This topic contains information about the defect fixes in this patch and provides instructions for upgrading to the patch.

Note

BMC Remedyforce 20.15.02.029.002 is a cumulative release and includes the enhancements that were provided in version 20.15.02.029 (Spring 15). For more information, see 20-15-02-enhancements.

Product update

In version 20.15.02.029 (Spring 15), if the scan job run by the Remedyforce Utility Service found records that referenced data in other objects that was deleted or modified, an email was sent to a maximum of 10 Remedyforce administrators (users for whom the Remedyforce Administrator check box was selected). If your organization did not have Remedyforce administrators, the email was sent to Salesforce system administrators (users with the System Administrator profile).

The following updates are available in version 20.15.02.029.002 (Spring 15 Emergency Patch 1):

  • The scan job no longer sends an email to Salesforce system administrators. Therefore, if your organization does not have Remedyforce administrators, the scan job does not send any email if impacted records are found.
  • The maximum limit of sending the email to 10 Remedyforce administrators has been removed.
  • The content of the email has been updated to provide more context to Remedyforce administrators:
