Approving records submitted for approval

If you are an approver in the approval process of records, you can view a list of items that you need to approve on your Salesforce Home page.

  • Email message: When a record is submitted for approval, the approver receives an email message from Salesforce with a link to approve or reject the record. When you click the link, the Approval Request page is displayed. Enter your comments and depending on your decision to approve or reject the record, click Approve or Reject.
  • Salesforce Home page: You can configure the page layout of your Salesforce organization to display a list of items that need your approval. On your Salesforce Home page, in the Items to Approve section, click Approve/Reject. Enter your comments and depending on your decision to approve or reject the knowledge article, click Approve or Reject.
