Deleting data from your account

Proceed with caution

The data that you delete is permanently purged from your account, and cannot be recovered or tracked.

Delete data from your account when you want to permanently purge data from a specific source or application for your account. This feature is useful in scenarios such as erroneous data tagging that caused data to be sent to an incorrect app. It might also be useful to delete data if you want to start collecting data afresh after using test applications and data.

Choose your option(s) after carefully considering the impact on your existing analytics tasks and operations. For example, deleting metric data will impact all views where you use those metrics and deleting source data will impact the associated app.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have configured data collection for your TrueSight Intelligence account.
