Installation utility encounters problems during installation
The installation utility may encounter problems, such as not being able to access the root account during installation.
To fix the problem
If you are using a Korn shell, C shell, or Bash shell to perform the installation, switch to a Bourne. Only Bourne shells are supported for this version of the installation utility. While Korn shells, C shells, and Bash shells are acceptable and can be used, they are not supported and may cause intermittent problems during the installation.
