Troubleshooting database performance issues

When you observe performance issues with the database, use the following information to enable appropriate logging, troubleshoot and resolve database issues, or create a BMC Support case.

The AR System may present performance issues when the underlying problem is with the database. Much of what the AR System server does is heavily dependent on the database. Therefore, database performance and configuration issues are likely to become AR System server performance issues.

Symptom

AR System is performing poorly due to database performance or configuration issue.

Scope

A database issue occurs on multiple (or all) servers in a server group that is connected to that database. This may affect all or just a specific type of activity in AR System.
