BMC Helix Innovation Studioprovides two ways to develop an application: codeless and code-based.
Administrators can develop codeless applications and libraries by using BMC Helix Innovation Studio. Development of codeless applications requires minimal programming knowledge or dependency on developers. These simple applications also require minimal customization. Codeless applications consist of only definitions and data and do not include libraries.
Administrators can develop code-based applications and libraries by using the BMC Helix Innovation Studio SDK, BMC Helix Innovation Studio, and Maven archetypes. With code-based applications, administrators can extend the BMC Helix Innovation Studio to create custom components, custom REST APIs, connectors, and so on.
