Developing and deploying code-based applications

Use BMC Helix Innovation Studio to develop code-based applications. BMC Helix Innovation Studio consists of BMC Helix Innovation Studio SDK and BMC Helix Innovation Studio that assists you in creating applications and libraries. BMC Helix Innovation Studio requires minimal code and has an intuitive user interface that allows administrators and application business analysts to use visual designers while they are creating applications or libraries.

To understand the skills required to develop an application, see BMC Helix Innovation Suite overview.

The following video (3:51) explains how to develop an application by using BMC Helix Innovation Studio. The video shows an older version of BMC Helix Innovation Studio. Although there might be minor changes in the UI, the overall functionality remains the same:

Use the information in this section to set up the development environment, create an application project, create an application definition, develop connectors, create a deployment package, and test an application.
