Setting your console preferences

View and set preferences for the BMC Helix Operations Management console.

To set the console preferences

1. In the console header, click the menu in the top-right corner  and select User Preferences.
2. On the User Preferences page, click the action menu, and click Edit.
   
3. Select the time zone to be used in the console and in reports.
   Time is automatically adjusted if the selected time zone supports daylight saving time. The  BMC Helix Operations Management default time zone is set to the console's default time zone.
   
4. Select the date and time format.
5. Select the language.
   When you log on to the  BMC Helix Operations Management console for the first time, your browser's locale settings become the default console settings until you change them.
   The following languages are available:
   • English
   • Chinese (Simplified)
   • German
   • Canadian-French
6. Enable or disable the display of the complete path for monitor instances.
