Amazon Web Services dashboard

The dashboard on Amazon Web Services (AWS) displays the following information:

  • Log count statistics from various regions, groups, and streams
  • Top 5 regions, log groups, and streams by log count

To view the dashboard

  1. On the left navigation pane, hover over the Dashboards icon  and click Browse.
  2. Click the Log Analytics folder and then click AWS.

    Tip: Quick access from the home page

    To quickly open the dashboard from the home page, mark it as a favorite by using the star icon. Additionally, after you open a dashboard, it is available under Recently viewed dashboards on the home page.

Panels in the AWS dashboard

The following table describes the panels in the AWS dashboard:

Dashboard filtersDisplays the following filters to view the information on the dashboard:
  • Integration Name
  • Regions
  • Log group
  • Log stream

By default, the dashboard displays the data for the last 24 hours. You can filter the data by using the time range global filter.

Log count statistics

Displays sources in an AWS account from where logs are being collected:

  • Total log count
  • Number of regions
  • Number of log groups
  • Number of log streams

Top 5 regions by log count

Displays the top 5 regions by log count from where you are collecting logs.

Top 5 log groups by log count

Displays the top 5 log groups by log count from where you are collecting logs. 

Top 5 streams by log count 

Displays the top 5 streams by log count from where you are collecting logs.
