Configuring the Golden Producer task

A Golden Producer task is responsible for running the golden analyses and models. Depending on the BMC Helix Continuous Optimization deployment, there can several tasks belonging to this category, that produce results of analyses and models at different frequencies.

Any analysis and model can be scheduled by associating it to a configured golden model executor task. For more information, see Modeling capacity usage.

The following details must be entered for the Run configuration of the task:

Fields and tabs available in Advanced mode are identified using the (lightbulb) icon.

NameType a name for the task.
EnvironmentSelect if the task should be in the Test or Production environment.
DescriptionType a description for the task.
Generated ObjectsSelect Auto analyses or Golden analyses / models
ParallelismType the number of tasks that can be run simultaneously.
Domains list (lightbulb)Select the domains you should be processed by the ETL task.
Batch Analyses execution (lightbulb)

Select if you want to run batch analysis.

This option is displayed for Auto analyses only.

Analysis templates association (lightbulb)

Select if you want to perform the analysis template association.

This option is displayed for Auto analyses only.

Scheduling options (lightbulb)
Hour maskSelect the time of the day when the task is scheduled to run.
Day of week maskSelect the days of the week to schedule the task.
Day of month maskSelect the days of the month to schedule the task.
Apply mask validationSelect if you want to mask the validation or not.
Execute after timeSpecify the time period after which the scheduler task must be executed.
EnqueueableSelect if you want the task to be queued if other tasks are being executed.
Customized execution date
Start dateSelect a custom date on which the ETL will be executed.
Number of days between execution (step)Specify the frequency of execution after the start date.
Stop dateSelect the date on which the ETL execution will end.
