    • Based on summary value - fast: Estimates a summary point for each series and takes the highest points as top.
    • Based on dayprofile: Estimates a summary point for each hour for each series (also called dayprofile) and considers the highest point for any series. This method is more accurate than the preceding method, if time series have recurring hourly peaks in the time period.
    • Based on all analysis samples - slow and accurate: high memory requirements: Analyzes all the samples at the selected resolution. This method is slow and memory consuming, but also the most accurate. Using this method is not recommended, unless there is a very specific need.

To use the right axis on an analysis chart

Analyses allow you to produce output graphs that display two Y axes, one on the left and one on the right side of the chart. This feature can be useful for viewing a scaled axis or viewing a chart for other metrics.

Right axis - Scaled

To read the chart for one or more time series using a proportionally re-sized metric scale.

Using the right axis to read data using a different scale

Right axis - Select metrics

To display two or more time series on the same graph and obtaining a significant plot even though they use different metric scales. For example, displaying customer requests (sum) and CPU utilization (percentage) on the same chart.

Using the right axis to plot different types of data
