Installing Migration Simulation

Use Migration Simulation to evaluate the opportunity and cost effectiveness of migrating servers or business services that are hosted in your on-premises infrastructure to a public cloud.

To install Migration Simulation

  1. Select Administration > System > Maintenance.
    The Maintenance page is displayed. The Additional Packages table lists the available packages.
  2. For Migration Simulation, click the  Install icon.

  3. Review the message and click Next.
  4. Review the details of the package and click Proceed.
    Migration Simulation is installed.

  5. Verify the installation:
    1. Ensure that the Status column for Migration Simulation displays Installed. If not, you can troubleshoot the installation by clicking the  View deployment log icon.
    2. In the Views tab, expand the left navigation pane and select Migration Simulation.
