Setting language preferences

You can set your language preferences in the Settings area of the portal.

To set language preferences

1. Open the Settings view.

   8.1.02 and later — Click Settings.

   

   
   8.1.01 and earlier — At the bottom of the portal window, click the Settings link.
   The Settings area opens on the right side of the portal.

2. To change the language of the questions and messages that you send to the virtual or live agent, select the appropriate language from the Send Message In list.
3. To change the language of the messages that are sent by the virtual or live agent, select the appropriate language from the Receive Message In list.

4. Save your changes:
   In 8.1.02 and later, click Apply. 

   In 8.1.01 and earlier, click the red X to close the Settings area.
