Guidelines

Announcement Support for this product will end on November 3, 2025. We recommend that you use PATROL for Linux, PATROL for AIX, or PATROL for Solaris to monitor operating systems.

Supported tasks for the PowerVM environment

You can perform the following tasks to monitor management consoles:

  • Adding management consoles: To add a management console, from the PowerVM container, choose KM Commands > Manage List of Management Consoles and choose the Add Management Console option.
  • Modifying management consoles: After you add a management console, you can modify its details such as the username, password, public and private key paths. To modify a management console from the PowerVM container, choose KM Commands > Manage List of Management Consoles, select the host and choose the Modify Management Console option.
  • Deleting management consoles: To delete a management console, from the PowerVM container, choose KM Commands > Manage List of Management Consoles, select the host and choose the Delete Management Console option.
