Support for POWER8 processor

BMC PATROL for UNIX and Linux version 9.13.00 now supports the IBM POWER8 processor.

HAAG configuration in COLLECTORS mode

BMC recommends the Data Collection Manager (DCM) data collection mode in an AIX SPLPAR environment. In the DCM data collection mode, the Health-At-A-Glance data collector sets the value of the HAAGCPUUsage parameter depending on the value of the CPUUtilPerVCpu parameter. However, in the COLLECTORS mode, the CPUUtilPerVCpu parameter is not available and hence the HAAGColl collector parameter uses the CPUCpuUtil parameter value only if the /DisableCpuUtil PATROL Agent configuration variable is set to 0.
