The BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server uses several TCP control ports for its operations. The table below lists the ports that you can configure during the installation of BMC ProactaiveNet Server and provides the procedure to change the port configuration in case of conflict with another application installed on the same host. For information about ports that can be configured after the installation of Infrastructure Management, see Ports that can be configured after the installation.

- User — User name for the BMC Server Automation server
- Password — Password for the BMC Server Automation server
- Role — Role that is defined to grant permissions to the BMC Server Automation user. The default is BLAdmins.
