Enabling debug logging on the IBM Tivoli adapter


To help troubleshoot issues that might arise in the adapter for IBM Tivoli Monitoring, you can enable debug logging.

To enable debug logging on the adapter for IBM Tivoli Monitoring

  1. On the Integration Service, open the itconfig.xml file, located in the installationDirectory\pw\pproxy\PNS\lib directory.
  2. Change the value of the logLevel attribute to DEBUG; that is, logLevel="DEBUG"
  3. Save and close the file.

The debugging information is written to the itadapter.log file with the PID number at the end of the file name. The file is located in the installationDirectory\pw\pproxy\PNS\log directory.
