Customizing the FlashCheck timeout

If the FlashCheck feature times out, you can set a longer FlashCheck timeout, by performing the following steps:

  1. Locate the pronet.conf file, typically found on the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server, in the <installationDirectory>\pw\pronto\conf directory.
  2. Find the line with the pronet.apps.demandpoll.timeout property and set it to a new value, in milliseconds.
     The default value in this line is 180000 milliseconds (3 minutes).
  3. Save and close the file.
  4. Restart the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
