Real User Application Visibility is designed to integrate with a variety of application-monitoring solutions (in the BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring web interface, called Application Visibility servers).
The system can support connections with up to 20 Application Visibility servers.
To connect the system to a back-end application-monitoring solution, you must add an Application Visibility server.
To perform this procedure, you must have Operator-level access, or higher.
In the Real User Analyzer, point to Administration > Integration, and then click Application Visibility servers.
If you use dynaTrace as application-monitoring product, the system displays additional controls to configure the integration. These controls appear when you edit the configuration.
For the dynaTrace server interface with BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring, perform the following steps:
If these interfaces are the same as above (in other words, as the interface with BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring), leave the check box selected.
Type the client services port number.
This interface is for the dynaTrace server connection with the browser running the BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring interface.
