You can archive a Watchpoint to save it for later use.

When a Watchpoint is archived, the system stops collecting and storing data for this Watchpoint, and deletes all data stored for it, but saves its configuration for later use. The Watchpoint appears in the list of archived Watchpoints. Now, you can create space for more active Watchpoints on the system.

To archive a Watchpoint

To perform this procedure, you must have Operator-level access, or higher.

  1. In the Real User Analyzer interface, go to Administration > Watchpoint management, and then click Available Watchpoints.
  2. From the shortcut menu for the Watchpoint that you want to archive, select Archive.

To dearchive a Watchpoint

To perform this procedure, you must have Operator-level access, or higher.

  1. In the Real User Analyzer interface, go to Administration > Watchpoint management, and click Archived Watchpoints.
  2. From the shortcut menu for a given archived Watchpoint, select De-archive and turn on.

The system dearchives the Watchpoint and makes it available.

Note

De-archiving a Watchpoint does not recover data that the system collected for it previously.
