When you create or modify a dashboard, select and configure the Applications Overview - Synthetic dashlet to display the overall performance for applications with synthetic monitoring enabled.
This topic presents the following information about this dashlet:
The Applications Overview - Synthetic dashlet provides a view of the performance of up to 15 applications with synthetic transactions. It displays a timeline of the applications' status. The status is based on the status of synthetic transactions.
If you select a single application in the dashboard Global Filter , the dashlet shows data for that application only.
Note
If you select All applications in the dashboard Global Filter, no data is displayed. This dashlet does not support the All option.

Applications Overview - Synthetic dashlet
The dashlet shows data for the Time Period selected in the dashboard Global Filter. The Applications Overview - Synthetic dashlet can show data for time ranges of up to 1 day. The dashlet does not support the 2-day time period.
Note
The dashlet always displays times in the 24-hour format. AM/PM is not supported.
Each data point represents a five-minute aggregation of data. If an error occurs in the first minute of the five-minutes, the error is not displayed on the dashlet until the five minutes are complete. The first data point always shows no errors.
You can examine data in the dashlet by performing the following tasks:
Hover over a point in the graph to see the end time of the bucket for that point, and the number of impacted executions and total number of executions at that point.
