The Real User Analyzer console enables you to manage captured traffic, set up Real User Collector feeds, configure Watchpoints, and access the Watchpoint Summary, Session Browser, Incidents, Reports, and other features.

To access the Real User Analyzer console from the TrueSight console

You can access the Real User Analyzer console from the TrueSight console through the Performance and Availability dashlet in a dashboard. A dashboard in the TrueSight console provides consolidated and customized views of your environment. You create a dashboard by selecting dashlet templates from the dashlet library and configuring them for your specific requirements. Each configured dashlet provides access to a specific type of data and presents it in a graphical format. When a dashlet in the dashboard identifies a problem, the dashlet also acts as an access point to investigate and troubleshoot the root cause.

  1. After you have saved a dashboard with the Performance and Availability dashlet, click a bar in the bar graph, anywhere in the pie chart, or the percentage.

  2. In the menu that appears, select one of the following commands to drill down to a report, snapshot of sessions, or page details.
    • Drill down to report
    • Drill down to sessions
    • Drill down to pages
The selected menu command opens your Real User Analyzer to show you the appropriate information.

To access the Real User Analyzer console from a browser

  1. From a supported browser, enter the IP address or host name of the Real User Analyzer.

    Example (Linux with custom ports):
    https://192.0.2.10:<portNumber>

  2. On the Login page, enter your user name and password, and press Log In.
