HP 3PAR ETL for BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization is a connector specifically designed for BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization. It can be defined as an ETL Service, named Storage – HP 3PAR Extractor Service, that continuously polls and collects data from the HP 3PAR CIM server.
Once the ETL is properly configured, the Storage – HP 3PAR Extractor Service task collects all the metrics required for performing critical capacity optimization tasks, such as: analysis, trending, simulation and analytic modeling.
