POOL hierarchy

The POOL application class enables you to configure and manage Solaris Containers. This application class parameter monitors logical pools provided in the Solaris10 environment. The Solaris Container information provided by the PATROL KM for UNIX is classified into Pool and Zone configuration, and CPU utilization information for global and non-global zones. The POOL, ZONE, and KERNEL application follows the DCM collection method to support Solaris global zones, and for the non-global zones, PSL collection method is followed.

The following figure illustrates the basic hierarchy. It does not necessarily display all the parameters in this application class.
