Monitoring LDoms

PATROL KM for UNIX and Linux provides support for Oracle Logical Domains (ldoms). It supports all the existing application classes on all types of logical domains and enables you to monitor the features of the ldoms. The product provides configuration information for all the logical domains from the control domain, also called the primary domain.

To monitor the features of the logical domains, the BMC PATROL default account must have the solaris.ldoms.read authorization. The product enables you to monitor and display the configuration for each configured and active domain on the system, including the control domain, based on domain roles such as the Control domain, Service domain, and Guest domain.
