Guidelines

Announcement Support for this product will end on November 3, 2025. We recommend that you use PATROL for Linux, PATROL for AIX, or PATROL for Solaris to monitor operating systems.

Disks

The DISK application class enables you to select the disks to be monitored by BMC PATROL. With this feature, you can exclude test disks and other disks that are not vital to your company's day-to-day activities, from monitoring. The DISK tasks are described in detail on the following pages:
