The KM now provides improved logging for local, remote, and edge exchange servers to help you troubleshoot issues better. The logs will now be generated in multiple log files.
The logs are initially generated in the %PATROL_HOME%\PKX\logs\cmdlet\BMCCMDlet<PID>.txt file.
Once the default file size set in the DebugFileSize
property of the %PATROL_HOME%\PKX\Conf\Properties\CmdLet.properties file exceeds, the logs from the BMCCMDlet<PID>.txt file are cleared and moved to a new <Timestamp>_BMCCmdLet<PID>.txt file and the new incoming logs continue to be generated in the BMCCMDlet<PID>.txt file.
Each time the file size of the BMCCMDlet<PID>.txt file exceeds, the logs are moved to as many files as is set in the LogFilesCount
property of the CmdLet.properties file.
The logs are initially generated in the %PATROL_HOME%\bin\MSEXCHCMdlet<PID>.txt file.
Once the default file size of 50 MB exceeds, the logs from the MSEXCHCMdlet<PID>.txt file are cleared and moved to a new <Timestamp>_MSEXCHCmdlet<PID>.txt file and the new incoming logs continue to be generated in the MSEXCHCMdlet<PID>.txt file.
Each time the file size of the MSEXCHCMdlet<PID>.txt file exceeds, the logs are moved to newer files.
