Monitor types or application classes

This section provides information about the various monitor types or application classes available:

Note

  • Monitor types in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management are known as application classes in BMC PATROL.
  • Attributes in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management are known as parameters in BMC PATROL.

The following application classes (and the associated parameters) are presented in the format, proactivenetName (patrolName).

proactivenetName refers to the application name displayed in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management.

patrolName refers to the parameter name displayed in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management.
