You can edit the agent configuration by using wpconfig. In this release, you can only add the path to the Java Home using the wpconfig utility. The setting for Java Home is always: /CUM/Defaults/JAVA_HOME, no other value is supported.

Note

You cannot enter or modify a password using the wpconfig or xpconfig utility. To change the password, use the interface commands or PATROL Configuration Manager.

Using the wpconfig utility for windows

To use the wpconfig utility

  1. Open Run.
  2. Type wpconfig.
  3. Click Ok.
  4. From Tools, select Get Configuration.
  5. In the Get Configuration dialog box, enter the host name of the computer where the Java agent is installed.
  6. The Agent configuration is called and displayed.
  7. Open CUM folder.
  8. Make changes to the default parameters or environment parameters.
  9. From the Tools menu, select Apply Configuration.
