PATROL for Cisco Nexus and its documentation are no longer supported. However, the documentation is available for your convenience. You will not be able to leave comments.

The variables described in this section are BMC PATROL for Cisco Nexus Switch variables that are set in the PATROL Agent. You can use the PATROL Configuration Manager or the wpconfig/xpconfig utility to view variable settings or to deploy them to other machines.

Warning

  • Changing any of these variables might prevent some functions from working properly, and might affect your entire installation. Make a record of the original setting for a variable before you change it.
  • Many BMC PATROL for Cisco Nexus variables are set by menu commands or functions. Do not use the wpconfig utility or PATROL Configuration Manager to remove variables or add new variables. Doing so might prevent some functions from working correctly and can affect your entire installation. BMC recommends that you set agent configuration variables by using a console to configure BMC PATROL for Cisco Nexus.

Note

Some of the variables described in this section may not appear in your environment. Some variables exist only when their corresponding features are enabled or when non-default performance options are selected.
