When you install BMC TrueSight Report Engine, if you had selected not to import BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management universe and reports, you must manually import them into the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise by using the Import Wizard of SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise. The Import Wizard guides you through the process of importing users, groups, and folders into SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise.

Note

If you had selected to import BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management universe and reports when you install BMC TrueSight Report Engine, do not import them manually as the installer has automatically imported them into SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise.

Before you begin

Before importing the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management universe and reports, ensure that:

  • You have installed SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise 4.1 SP3 Patch 3
  • You have installed the Oracle client if you have installed Oracle Database and SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise on different computers.
