Recommendations for upgrading the BMC PATROL Agent and monitoring solutions to a Infrastructure Management environment

BMC recommends the following guidelines when you are upgrading the BMC PATROL Agent and monitoring solutions to a Infrastructure Management 9.6 environment:

• Your Infrastructure Management infrastructure must include at least one (if not more) Integration Services.
• Configure the local agent (agent that is installed with the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server) to be a staging Integration Service.
• Add the Integration Services using Central Monitoring Administration.
