Accessing the console

This topic explains how to access the BMC TrueSight IT Data Analytics Console.

Depending on your platform, start the product in a supported browser, as described in the following table:

Windows

Linux

Use one of the following options:

  • Navigate to Start > All Programs > BMC Software > TrueSight > IT Data Analytics > Launch ITDA Console.
    Note: The Launch ITDA Console option opens the product in your default browser.
  • Go to http://hostName:port/console/

Go to http://hostName:port/console/.

The hostName:port variable refers to the host name and corresponding port number of the Console Server. For information about supported ports, see Communication ports and protocols.

After starting the product, log on to BMC TrueSight IT Data Analytics by using the credentials provided by the Super Admin.
