System requirements

Before installing PATROL for IT Data Analytics, ensure that your target systems meet the requirements specified in the following table.

Requirements for installing PATROL for IT Data Analytics

References to Microsoft Windows Server 2008 include all editions of these platform families and their service packs except if service packs are specifically listed. References to x86-64 include AMD64 (which includes Opteron) and Intel 64 architecture (formerly known as Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology, or Intel EM64T).

Disk space	150 MB (required for downloading the KM) 100 MB (required for installing the KM)
Ports	If you are installing an Agent or console with PATROL for IT Data Analytics, you must specify the port number to connect to all the agent computers. The default port number is 3181.
