You can modify the BMC Synthetic Transaction Execution Adapter (TEA) Agent configuration settings that were defined during installation, such as changing passwords or the associated Agent Group. You cannot change the installation directory or the TEA Agent name.
If you change the results archive password, the new password only applies to results archives generated after the change.

On the Installation Summary page, click View Log to examine the installation log, then click Done to exit the installation utility.

(Version 2.6.10) Ensure that you use the
tea_service_name parameter values for the agent that you want to modify. If you enter new values for the parameters, the installation process runs to install another TEA Agent.
(Version 2.6.00) Do not change the
tea_service_name parameters. Changing the parameters causes the installation process to run, instead of the update process. The system cannot recognize multiple TEA Agents on the same computer and the Agents will not perform as expected.
