Stopping the DFS service


This topic provides instructions for stopping the DFS service.

To stop the DFS service

  1. Access the NT_DFS_ROOT application class menu as described in Accessing-KM-menu-commands.
  2. Choose the Stop DFS Service menu command.
    A notification dialog box is displayed that requests confirmation to stop the DHCP service on the server.
  3. Click Yes.
    A notification dialog box is displayed that confirms a request has been submitted to stop the DHCP service.
  4. Click OK.
    The DCHP service is stopped.
