The Backup and Clear Eventlog recovery action backs up and clears specified event logs when the parameter Event Log File Free Space Percent (ELMEvFileFreeSpacePercent) enters an alarm state.
To configure the the Recovery Action that Backs up and clears event log files
- Access the KM menu of the host application as described in Accessing KM menu commands.
- Choose the KM menu command Configure Recovery Actions.
- From the list of available recovery actions in the Registered Recovery Actions dialog box, select the Backup and Clear Eventlog recovery action.
- Highlight the desired instance and click Edit.
- From the Configure Recovery Action dialog box, select the desired options.
- To save your changes, click Accept.
