Improved Windows Event Log monitoring

  • Enhanced performance by using XML Path (XPath)

    Added a new PCONFIG variable for filtering Windows events while subscribing it from Windows Event System. The value of this variable will be XML query.

    /PSX__P4WinSrvs/PWK__PKMforMSWinOS_config/EventLogMonitoring/<EventLogName>/EventFilterQuery

    XML quey example

    This example will filter Audit Failure events of Event ID 4625.

    <QueryList>

      <Query Id="0" Path="Security">

        <Select Path="Security">*[System[band(Keywords,4503599627370496) and (EventID=4625)]]</Select>

      </Query>

    </QueryList>

  • Support for Operational, analytic and debug event logs

    Operational, analytic and debug event logs were not discovered by default. Use the Enable-Disable Windows Event Log Monitoring menu command to discover operational, analytic and debug event logs.
