The Microsoft Windows Domain Services 1.7.00.01 patch includes the following updates:
With the new parameters in the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) application class, you can now monitor the IPv6 server statistics on a DHCP server. The following table lists the new parameters in the DHCP (NT_DHCP) application class.
Note
The IPv6 parameters are activated automatically when an IPv6 scope is created on the DHCP server. This KM supports IPv6 scope only for DHCP server running on Microsoft Windows 2012 and above.
To suppress the auto activation of these parameters set the value of /DomainKM/DHCP/OverrideIPv6ParameterAutoActivate pconfig variable to 1.
With the 1.7.00.01 patch, PATROL Knowledge Module for Microsoft Windows Domain Services now supports IPv6 scope on Microsoft Windows 2012. SNMP service dependency is removed to monitor DHCP server on Microsoft Windows 2012 and above.
