Stopping DTC service

Use the Start DTC Service command to stop the MS DTC service.

Before you begin

  • You must be connected to a machine running the PATROL Agent.
  • COM_DTC application class must be displayed on the PATROL Console.

To stop the DTC Service

  1. Access the COM_DTC application class menu as described in Accessing-KM-menu-commands.
  2. Choose KM Commands > Stop DTC Service.
    The DTC service is stopped. The Stop Service MSDTC information box appears and notifies you that the DTC service is stopping and has been successfully stopped.
  3. Click OK to close the information box.
